Over the past years the worship display team at my home church (FBC Peoria, IL) in creative conjunction with the pastoral staff, have created some amazing worship displays. Each church is designed with unique spacing "issues" so I understand if the scale might be different, but here are some ideas of what you can do in worship art - worship display design.Oh and yes that is actual fire, they have used pyrotechnics several times...just have a fire extinguisher handy.
The best want to navigate the site is to use the “Blog Archive” to search by subject. Simply click on the subject and it will take you right to it, otherwise the blogs will be listed as they were entered (on the left). Have fun!
If your like me, you have a tool bar across your web browser that stretches from one end of the screen to the next, has forced you to go back (on multiple occasions) to categorize, organize and rename mis labeled links and is for all intensive purposes a mis guided mess that was suppose to help you find all those great little things you need when you are writing your sermons, planning your worship or in search of inspiration for that “visioning” session with your deacon board. This is my attempt to capture (hopefully in a more successful way) those little gems with out the risk of losing them the next time my web browser decides to have an issue losing all my precious links. So with the help of my friends in my “Art, Artist and Christology” classmates I hope to link up what they find, what I find and of course an area for comments where people are free to share what they think of the art, link, etc.
