Worship Arts

One thing that I am so passionate about is worship arts! In our congregations are people who have been given talents to paint, dance, sing, sculpt, design...the list could go on. I would bet several of those people have never used their talents in worship. By discovering the gifts that God has given members of the church community and beyond can lead to unbelievable worship experiences! Below are some great sites that can help you discover a whole new world of worship:

Articles on Worship and the Arts on Worshiplinks.com
Worship: The Arts in Worship
A United Methodist Worship resource
The Fellowship of United Methodist in Music and the Worship Arts

The Fellowship of American Baptist Musicians
Ok so this is mainly for musicians, but as some one who attends the conference every year I felt I needed to put it up here.

The Society for the Arts in Religious and Theological Studies: ARTS Magazine
The Arts in Religious and Theological Studies (ARTS) is the journal of The Society for the Arts in Religious and Theological Studies published by the theology and arts program of United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Edited by Wilson Yates and Kimberly Vrudny, the journal treats broadly the intersections between theology and the arts. I highly reccomend this journal!!
